I had been looking for a contractor to do my back patio area for a little bit of time when I came upon Classic Contours Landscaping and Irrigation Company. I reached out and began working with Chris - the contractor- to design and implement the construction.  He was very helpful in the creative process and was very willing to help design my patio and bring it to life. What I will say positively about this business is that, the work that was done was satisfactory and the laborers hired to work on my property were nice and professional. However, I am writing this review to inform others about the immaturity and unprofessionalism of its owner Chris Cieri. Towards the end of this project, my wife and I made a very simple request for the contractor to send his crew back one last time to clean up the glue splashes left on the finished product and to fix a few loose stones- this set him off. He and I ended up in a heated text chat where he made things personal because I wanted the job finished properly before I sent over the payment for the finished project. First of all- most people don't pay for services before the services are completed. Second of all- when he asked me for a check, I asked him for a way to pay with my debit card- (this is the 21st century if I'm not mistaken?) and he informed me that his company was not set up to accept cards.. (once again... 21st century?) I don't have checks so I asked him for another alternative. This along with the fact I wanted him to finish job correctly delayed his payment. In his baby-fied rant, He attacked me as a person and insulted my character, all because he wasn't getting his way. It is in no way- too much to ask for someone who was hired for a job to clean up they mess left. I asked for a nice clean patio- not one covered in cement splashes and drips. You wouldn't paint a wall and leave paint splash on the floors? He had a conniption for the very fact I even asked for this to be done and had no easy solution for me to send the payment to him. I will say - since I know Chris likes to respond to any of his BAD reviews- that he did send one of his staff to do what was asked and it was done within 24 hours of our conversation- but it does not change the fact that he was aggressive, childish, and out right laughable for his reaction to me asking him to DO HIS JOB.
