The ambiance, food, and wine are all excellent but honestly what keeps us coming back are the friendly and incredibly helpful employees. They're great at suggesting wine and very attentive. It's perfect for a date night or a small gathering with friends. The only downside is it is a bit pricey.

Cute little place to go have a quick drink with a friend, but that's about it. The food is so-so and WAY overpriced and I advise anyone NOT to purchase any wines from their store. I bought a bottle of pinot noir priced at $41.99 only to do a bit of research and find that they charged $20.00 more for this bottle than any other place selling that same bottle. I won't be back as there are too many places in Charlotte so much better than D'Vine,

My wife and I joined some friends for dinner tonight which was a first time for both couples. Loved the atmosphere, ambiance, our seared scallops were superb and our wine top notch. This has to be the best kept secret in Ballantyne... and we intend to go back many times. Thanks for a wonderful evening.

Love the relaxed atmosphere and cozy setting of this wine bar. They also have live music. Don't miss this great Ballantyne café.

Loud, over crowded environment, plus surly waitress and overpriced, badly prepared food = bad experience. The waitress was an idiot. All she cared about was maximizing the amount of wine she could sell. I tried ordering a salad and dinner, but was rebuffed because " I'm only taking appetizer orders now" I had to wait an hour for the privilege of being served an overcooked, overpriced steak, which I returned. The wine selection was decent, and priced fairly. Save yourself the trip for dinner. Too many negatives to make it worth the effort. This place sucks.
