Fried calamari is FABULOUS!!

Pork Osso Buco with Jasmine Rice and Rack of Lamb with garlic mashed potatoes!
Amazing - Dessert is next
Tres Leches and Coconut Cake
Warning: its LOUD inside (I love the Spanish guitar music) but the weather was so nice today they had nice seating outside (we ate inside).
Service stellar as always.
Portions were just right.
Dessert portions were very generous!

the first is a Seafood Paella $60 approx dollars Perfect for 3 people and the second is a Meat Paella (for 2 people) in the center brings a delicious piece of beef . value $29 approx. For the best experience, ask for a reservation 7 out of 10

Tried Miro for the first time based on these reviews. Was really impressed by the ambiance and the bourbon selection (decent for NC) and the menu was impressive.
Really feel misled because the kitchen didnt deliver on what was probably amazing food by whomever designed the menu. The mussels were served gritty with several dead and the shrimp was bland and flavorless. Thats forgivable, could have been an off night and we were ordering just to see if its worth coming back and taking a chance on bigger items.
What was really alarming was the chance to get sharked on a drink. Ive learned to ask for whiskey prices for places that dont print a whiskey list. $13 for buffalo trace is decent, $63 for Eagle Rare made me think that theyre paying secondary prices and passing along the cost. But $64 for Elijah Craig (regular 94, not barrel proof) made me realize I was in a hostile environment. Thats at best a $40 mid-level bottle thats widely available. (I checked on the way home). If wed asked for that as our safe choice for a drink and got a $64+ charge, I would have gone off on the place.
Put off by the sketchy pricing I had a beer that must have been stocked just before we got there because it was warm. I asked for my next beer to get a head start in the freezer and even after 20mins in the freezer was still warm. Couldnt finish it. My wifes old fashioned was undrinkable.
Didnt make a stink of it and nobody asked so despite leaving them we ended up paying for both.
The place has all the vibes of a great place being milked on its decline from its heyday.
