Tedeschi Richard G PHD

I was going through trauma with my housing and saw Tedeschi twice. I asked him a few questions to attempt understanding. He had written that he used his religion in his counseling. When I asked for clarification he was insulted. Another question I asked him was about the books he published, were they textbooks? He answered "no". When I attempted to find them, I was told by a bookstore that his books were indexed as textbooks, and could be found at UNCCharlotte bookstore. This was all I need to know about him. Needless to say, I didn't continue with him.

I saw Tedeschi in 2017. Only now do I feel sufficiently recovered to again seek professional help. I now know that the "therapy" that I received was substandard, verging on malpractice. I am an adult survivor of CSA and Tedeschi created a cold, unfriendly, pressured environment. I left treatment in a retraumatized state. Do not recommend.
