Lorine was outstanding!! They worked hard for me during a very long 7 years dealing with Workman Comp. I never had to personally deal with any issues that came up, Lorine was on top of it. I walked in June 2019, I received immediate assistance. They didn’t Make me feel small or if my case wasn’t big enough. The team was so attentive and responsive my entire case. I never felt like I was left out or couldn’t trust their direction. I was able to get what I deserved for my pain and suffering due to my injuries. My mother and I was involved car accident in Asheville NC , living in Savannah,Ga not knowing who to call we were totally lost . Attorney Howard Spiva’s law firm pointed us in the right direction. He called Charles Monnett and his Law Firm in Charlotte N.C .. The Laws are complicated and different from state to state , Charles Monnett and his firm are TOP NOTCH ! Kelli is excellent and so caring . They got the most money for this accident.. At first I was hesitate about Attorneys after watching so many of them in TV commercials and the crazy shower commercials and standing on their heads in commercials.. They don’t make a circus out of their firm . but I’m here to tell you this Law Firm is Working for you !! Trust them completely this is all they know !! I can’t say enough GREAT things about them !!

After 9 years of receiving 3rd party disability benefits, the insurance company requested I do an independent medical exam. Shortly after the exam, I received a letter that my benefits would be terminated because according to the exam, I could do my work duties with no problem. This couldn't be further from the truth. I had no clue where to start trying to appeal that decision so I reached out to the Hickory Brain Injury Support Group. They referred me to Charles G Monnett III & Associates. After exchanging information via email for a short time, I started working with Matthew C. Berthold.
I got Mr. Berthold all the information and contact information that he would need to begin communication with the insurance company. After one or two phone calls and getting the needed information from me he began taking care of the appeal. Most of our interaction was done through email. He prepared a well written letter in the appeal contradicting what the independent medical exam said. He knew what to look for in both correspondence from the insurance company and the independent medical exam. There was status updates from him as the appeal progress proceeded.
I didn't have to have a lawyer to file the appeal but expected it would have to go to court for things to be made right and get my benefits back. Mr. Berthold with Charles G Monnett III & Associates helped me get my benefits reinstated via the appeal he filed for me. I couldn't be happier with the job he did for me not only because of the reinstatement but because he always made me feel as he cared and had things under control. Actions speak and the actions of anyone I dealt with at Charles G Monnett III & Associates were above what I would've expected. I HIGHLY recommend this firm and Matthew C. Berthold.
