Serpaco Painting

We have used Serpaco in the past. We chose them again because of their high quality, attention to detail and great service. The crew was courteous and respectful of our space and landscaping. Highly recommended. Will use them again.

Serpaco Painting did an amazing job with our historic home. We had extensive trim board rot on our Tudor style house which required specific skills and experience to fix. Serpaco was able to replace the problematic trim boards including ones that were embedded in stucco which was very delicate work. Before finding Serpaco, I had several other companies come over and none of them were able to formulate to plan to address the issue. Some even suggested solutions that werent even allowed by the Historic District Commission such as the use of PVC boards. Serpaco was the only contractor that had specific experience working on historic homes. Chris Gray was excellent to work with and was very good at communicating what was being done and why. He also offered excellent suggestions throughout the project that made the finished product better including choosing a great exterior paint color for us. Most importantly, all work was done at a high quality level with so much attention to detail. For instance, replacement trim boards were primed on all six sides before being installed. No detail was to small for them to address. Overall, Im very happy with the quality of the work done and would recommend Serpaco Painting to every homeowner.

Very impressed with Chris and his crew at Serpaco Painting. We live in a historic home in Dilworth and Chris did an amazing job with our original windows. When I mentioned we were having problem with mold related to the condensation on the old windows Chris immediately said he would add something to the paint to prevent mold in the future. We had two bedrooms and a bathroom repainted and there was quite a bit of repair work on our plaster walls/ceilings. Everything looks GREAT and I am very happy with the result. Chris also honored his estimate despite there was more repair work than originally thought. Definitely worth the price, will be using Chris and his crew to maintain our older home again in the future!

We had them paint our entire house after doing a lot of exterior wood repair had been completed and new siding installed. We apparently had some miscommunication towards the end of the project but they ultimately came through and made everything right. They did not rush their work and had a high attention to detail. We live on a street in one of Charlotte's historic districts. The houses are old and often include challenging details. For several years we watched Serpaco apply their craft to the houses on our street and we were impressed not only with the finished product but also the professionalism they appeared to employ on each job site. We were also impressed with how well their projects aged over time. Eventually, when time came to work on our house, we connected with Chris Gray and his team at Serpaco. Coming into the project we had high expectations but Chris and his team far exceeded those. We have an old wood paneled craftsman style house that required significant carpentry work. This was performed with an eye for detail and professional ability to create a seamless replacement/repair of the affected areas. At the close of the project Chris and his team went over the house repeatedly to ensure that all the details were addressed. We now have a finished product that is not only repaired and resistant to weather, but also clean and sharp- without visual clutter that we have seen from other vendors who rush through these projects in our neighborhood. On top of their trade skill, they were delightful to work with on this project. We will be working with Chris and his team in years to come- both inside and outside.
