Quite literally one of the worst medical experiences Ive ever had. Administration is unorganized and many staff members are rude and dismissive (I developed a new MS symptom following treatment and a nurse in the office told me it was normal to feel off and dismissed my concerns. The symptoms have since persisted). Having come from Yale Health in CT, this has been a disappointing and frustrating healthcare experience. The doctors and nursing staff are unwilling to offer assistance for related neurological issues and are difficult to get ahold of when attempting to transfer care to another healthcare group. I would advise finding alternative in-network care.

The people at this office were very helpful. The doctor spent plenty of time talking and working with my mother and me. It was a difficult situation and the experience was made a positively as possible. I would recommend this office to others. I walked away feeling that we had excellent care.

This review is about the office, not the doctors. I had to change my appointment. Never got through by phone despite repeated lengthy waits. Atrium customer service says that their hold times are typically 30 minutes. Let me restate that: Atrium thinks a 30 minute phone wait for its current patients is perfectly OK. My doctor (Karner) is really good. The staff that runs this clinic seem indifferent at best.

Dr. Karner is a very caring and a great listener, who always gives good advice, I feel lucky to have him as my neurologist.

Atrium's Neurology office at Ballantyne may or may not have good doctors- I've only visitd one of the group. But I have extensive contact with their support team: operator/appointment management/customer service. It is by far the worst medical support I have experienced in my life. Upon referral their standard window for response is 14 days. I had to call repeatedly when they failed to respond after that window and only got through on the 21st day. Later, I tried calling four times to change an appointment and waited for 15 minutes on hold each time without ever getting through. When I called customer service at Atrium's main office they said their typical hold time is 30 minutes per customer. Let me repeat that: Atrium sees no problem with having their typical customer wait on hold for 30 minutes. If this is their standard of standard of customer service, what is their standard of medical excellence? I only wish there were a "zero star" rating.
