I wouldn't recommend this Dr to my dog. They're just after your money and getting kick backs from Big Pharma. They'll want to see you every 2 weeks, prescribe what they want without listening to what the real problems are. Trust me when I say Stay Away!!!

I'M SOO SAD THEY CLOSED!! I'VE BEEN TO TWO DOCTORS SINCE THEY CLOSED AND CAN'T SEEM TO FIND THE RIGHT FIT!? WAITING TO GET IN MY THIRD DOCTOR AND JUST WONDERING.. "WHAT'S THE POINT!?" SO MANY are in it for the wrong reasons and it's the patience that suffer!! This was amazing place to go for a couple years I wish they would open again!!! LOVE this place! Dr. Samuels is such an amazing doctor! Both doctors are named, Dr. Samuels. As they are a family practice. I've only been to Mrs. Samuels. But, she remembers details & conversations about myself & our prior visits! She is SO GENTLE to my kids & even gives them lollipops every visit, from her," lollipop tree!" This really is a family office & it's very warm & welcoming, inside! The longest I've ever had to wait was 10 minutes, even on their busiest day! I've been a patient here for almost a year.. Dr. Samuels REALLY LISTENS/ CARES & IT SHOWS!! I tried St. Lazarus, after I left my original doc. for reasons that were very serious. I wish I would have made the switch, years ago!! Give them a chance. You WON'T regret it! They had to close their Charlotte location since COVID. I'm more than happy driving a couple hours, to their other location! When you find a doctor that genuinely cares & doesmtbtry to just write a prescription to write one, consider yourself very FORTUNATE! They have a patient for LIFE!

Their office is a joke. My daughter and I waited an hour and a half after our scheduled appointment. Once seen, they didn’t even speak to my daughter for more than 3 minutes before prescribing some antidepressants to a 11 year old. My daughter was going through bullying at school- and they didn’t even get to the reason why she felt the way she did. The week after (again- they saw us an hour after our scheduled appointment), and advise to prescribe a secondary medication to my daughter, to offset her sleepiness from the first medication. Working in RX for some time, I realized they make commission off the medications they prescribed. There were other adults sitting in the waiting room, rocking back and forth and continuing to ask the front desk for their “prescription”. This place is nothing but a fraud. Do not bring your kids here, the only thing they will do is offer you medications on medications. This place needs to be shut down. Dr. Samuel is a crook! Unprofessional office that’s a drug ring

I would like to address some of the negative reviews that Dr. Samuel has received. Unfortunately we live in a fast pace society where people feel entitled wherever they go. Having to wait in a waiting room for an hour is a wonderful thing, something you should be appreciating rather than complaining about it. Why, you might ask? A simple analogy should clarify the notion that a long wait is a positive thing. So, let’s suppose there are two restaraunts, restaraunt A and restaraunt B. Your plans are to enjoy a wonderful dinner with your significant other at restaraunt A. However you arrive and give them your name and they hand you a pager and tell you it’s going to be about an hour wait. It seems there is a code in restaraunts when it comes to approximating your wait. It seems the formula would be to add on twenty minutes more than what they tell you. So you take your pager and stand by the bar ordering drinks to pass the time. Then the epiphany !!! You look out the window and see restaraunt B seems relatively empty. So you pull your cell phone out and call restaraunt B and ask how long of a wait they have. The hostess is delighted to tell you “there is no wait, we can seat you right away”. So you say fantastic!!! Let’s go there. Then, after finishing you meals you realize why there wasn’t a wait. So waiting for a doctor is fine for me. I expect to wait because like restaraunt A, the service is worth the wait. I’ve been seeing Dr. Samuel for 6 months and have never waited an inordinate amount of time to be seen. When I do see him he is very empathetic and understanding of what my problem is/are. He is very kind, serving with a smile and respectful to me as a person. Dr. Samuel will listen to you and prescribe the appropriate medication. He follows up with me to make sure that I am doing well on the meds he prescribed. When I’ve had a bad month and need a little more time he is happy to listen to my complaining. God bless him for that. So when you have a longer than usual wait, please understand that he is, more than likely, giving a patient just like you, some extra, mich needed time and he will do the same for you. I let me make something clear. I am a patient and am no, in any way, affiliated with Dr. Samuel. If you are just too entitled to wait then I would recommend trying Dr. “B”. You’ll get in and out quickly but you’ll be left scratching your head asking “what just happened in there?” Dr. Samuel is a five star physician. I would even think about switching doctors. I’m in great hands at his office. Mark Sloan
