Emergency Room

Staff was very kind and helpful, I have no complaints on that. One major issue (and the reason I would not return) is the hallway treatment. It doesn't seem like you will get a room for most illnesses. You will be against a wall in the hallway. The nurses and doctors will mostly just treat you in the hallway in front of others. It seems like a model that you would use in a disaster situation, not a normal operation. You will get blood drawn, IV's started, doctor consultations, nurse care, etc. on a rolling bed in the hallway wrapped around a nurse station. It's beyond awkward to attempt a private conversation with a doctor in an almost public hallway. There are other patients and their guests just feet away. No curtains being used, Nurses taking breaks, random staff and help constantly walking by. This is a brand new facility and it must have been designed to be this way. Very disappointed in whomever came up with this model of public treatment. I don't know if it was to cut costs, just conserve space, or what? You might as well just get treated out in the lobby. No thanks.

It is horrible, personal absolutely careless. For 12 hrs.with high fever don't even get IV.
