Wonderful!!!! Wonderful!! Being from the north we often experience southern/soul food cooking by the way of our families never with the experience of fine dining. Delta’s gives you a great dining experience along with the best quality southern food I HAVE EVER EXPERIANCED!! The hostess were great and full of energy to ensure our party had a wonderful time celebrating or friends birthday. When it comes to cost to food is priced according to its quality. Past reviews have mention to the price of libations are inflated. I will agree to an extent however to have fresh lime juice to compliment my gimlet was worth it. The liquors are only top shelf so expect the minimum of ten dollars, bottle beer five dollars, and patron shots are eleven. There is a 20% gratuity applied to over a party of five. Lastly the live band is a great addition to the atmosphere. With the pictures that I posted throughout the night we had several inquires and planning is in effect with our friends and family from out of town to come into to dine with Delta’s very soon!!!!! WE CAN”T WAIT TO GO BACK!!!!!

I took my lady to Delta's for her special evening/Mother's Day event! From the moment we walked in until we left, it was great. The food was phenomenal and the service we received was second to none! I recommend you try Delta's, especially during the weekend whem they have live music. Yesterday was a jazz band, they played great especially the violinist! When you do go, ask for service by either Silas or Manny!

I went to Delta's on a Sunday evening. My experience was GREAT customer service. Very polite and friendly. My waitress never forgot about us and continually met our needs. Since it was my first time I had a lot of questions and she was very knowledgeable about the food, most poplar items and even the history of the restaurant chain. The food came fast and hot. VERY LARGE PORTIONS so it is worth every penny. The decor is beautiful. Exactly the type of upscale soul food establishment I've been looking for. A very warm environment in which u can good food and conversation. I plan to come back on the live entertainment nights. Also a major plus!!!

Let me start by saying that my husband and I read as many reviews as we could on about 5 different places to have data night. We are not from Charlotte so we’ve been looking for nice, adult spots to visit. The reviews for Delta’s were not that great but we decided that the best way to really know would be to just pick a place and try it. We felt that we needed to judge it for ourselves. With that said, WE LOVED Delta’s! The appearance and ambiance of the restaurant is great! We have no idea why there are so many negative reviews about it and what went on the night these people visited Delta’s but we had a great time. We arrived around 7:00pm (a bit early) but we wanted to make sure we had a pretty good seat for the band that evening. Next time we’ll go at 9:00pm. The hostesses were extremely nice and accommodating. Our waitress Maryann(?) was so precious. So sweet and helpful and she made sure we were doing ok the entire time without being too pushy or being a pain. She knew exactly when to come over if we needed something and new the menu like the back of her hand. The food was great! I ordered the Salmon cakes and grits and the only thing I would say is that they could have used a little old bay or salt and pepper to season them better. I asked for a side of gravy, poured that over them and that made it perfect. My husband had the pork chops and gravy, mash potatoes and mac and cheese. My sides were the Yams and red beans and rice plus we ordered a side of string beans. Yes it was a lot of food and we had plenty of leftovers for the next day but that gave us a chance to share and try a few different items to see what we liked best. Everything was point on including our drinks (Sweet Nectars), we both had 2 and our desserts (sweet potato cheesecake and cobbler). The band was great although we only stayed to hear them for about an hour. Overall, our experience at Delta’s was wonderful and we are looking forward to our next visit! Please don’t just this place by what others have said. Give it a try! I’m so glad we did!!!!
