We purchased their windows paying a high price for them and expecting a good product. The glass now looks milky due to seal failure, and the hardware has failed causing the locks to not work on our doors. Originally the Jeld-wen was going to help us get the "lifetime warranty" replacement items at a discount, but now they aren't helping at all, and we cannot get any replacement parts. It is sheer lack of customer service. I would suggest staying away from their products.

Never buy their windows. 2.3 stars for a reason. They do NOT want to honor their warranty work and will fight you for it. If you have to file a claim, push back harder than they do. Even the local dealer told me they hate paying out their warranties. Everyone in the claims department could be replaced with monkey.

ABSOLUTELY WORST WINDOW COMPANY IN CHARLOTTE! They have no one to repair broken locks or any other thing that is wrong with their low quality windows. Don't use them.

It took the almost 1 year to replace a defective door/transom window. They covered the door replacement, but the $4500 in water damage cause by the leaking defective product they would not cover. We had to go through our home owners insurance policy to file a claim. Home Depot pointed the fingers at them, they pointed their fingers at the installers, who pointed fingers back at the manufacturer. What’s even more terrible, they acted like they were doing us a big favor (taking a year and leaving us with a ruined hardwood floor). Wish we would have read the reviews before choosing this product. Do not make the same mistake we did. You can really tell when a company does not respond to their reviews that they just really do not care at all.
