highly dissatisfied with my visit to your Wendy’s location next to Northlake Mall in Charlotte, NC. I tried to do feedback through the Wendy’s website, however you need a receipt to leave feedback so after some research I feel that hopefully this reaches someone who matters with this chain. We stopped at this location the other day after visiting the mall. The drive thru had quite a few cars so my husband checked to see if the inside was open. The door was unlocked and there was nothing that would make us think it was closed. After seeing its open we proceed inside only to be told by a lady who said she was the general manager of the location that she doesn’t have enough staff to take orders inside and we needed to go thru the drive thru. When we questioned her about the fact the door was open she basically said it doesn’t matter that it’s unlocked she still couldn’t take our order due to no staff. With Covid I understand that staffing may be low and I would be understanding to this fact, however there were at least 6 people inside that I counted, my husband says he counted 8 including another manager who appeared to be cleaning the lobby. Matter of fact, It’s also hard to be understanding when we frequent this location often and the last month or so it’s a gamble on whether their “systems” will be up or not. Unfortunately we eat fast food often because of our work schedules, but from now on we will be taking our business down the road to McDonald’s who will take our order and won’t make me feel like an inconvenience for walking inside the restaurant. I have tried to give this location many chances as I understand the restaurant industry and for awhile service was good. I’m unsure of what has happened lately here but please fix it Wendy’s. I would like to be able to eat a Baconator again!
