Brigs of Ballantyne - Restaurant

We've eaten here many times and I've sampled several of their breakfast and lunch entrees. I have yet to have a bad meal or experience. A solid restaurant with good hearty meals. Highly recommended.

Took my family and extended family there on a Sunday for brunch. The food is great. The grumpy, cold, old greeter man made our whole group not want to return. Get rid of him and put someone pleasant at the door.

II had never been there before last Sunday, but was pleasantly surprised. A group of us went and I was impressed with the menu and the service. I had the Aztec Scramble and it was great. The food was hot, promptly served and the coffee was great. The prices are reasonable too. If you are in the Ballantyne area and looking for breakfast/brunch go to Brigs and ask for Molly, she will take care of you.

I was a regular at Eddie's Place and disappointed to see it go... however I embraced Brigs when it took over the same spot. The first two breakfasts were good but the last two have been below expectations. The last straw for me was an omelet I ordered "western" where I substituted bacon instead of ham. I am 99% certain they used bacon bits instead of real bacon... the bacon pieces were tiny, very chewy and salty.

I love their food and have been twice, however, I have a 6 month old baby and both times I've gone, the manager or owner gives me an attitude about bringing a child with me and acts as though its the most difficult thing in the world finding room for him. Both times I went the restaraunt was half empty so I'm not sure what the problem was but he definitely will not appreciate you going there with a child!
