MAA University Lake

Pros: -The staff is great -Maintenance is great -Outside of the property looks great and very clean Cons: -The apartments are very old and for the price it should be alot more modern -older ac units are extremely noisy and sounds like a motor on a 88 mustang. -2 bedroom apt and the toilets don't match or fit properly, extreme noise when flushing.

Great place to live in if you were looking for an apartment that is near the university. it is clean and the nighboure is quite. it's true that you have to buy your own furniture but at least the wifi, swimming pool and the gym is free. would recommend to students.

The property manager Patrice was excellent to work with. She communicated with us through the process and followed up as we were moving in. While the website was not always cooperative Patrice more than made up for it.

Apartments flood on the bottom floor closets to the pond. I was never informed of this otherwise I wouldn’t have rented unit or at the very least added flood to my renters insurance. When confronting management I was told “we don’t know when the unit is gonna flood .” Okay ! What kind of response is that ? And it’s a duh !! That’s why you give the tenant informed consent of the potential of flooding. And because I confronted the office I was then retaliated against and sent a letter stating they would not renew my lease. Really !! Do you honestly think I would rent from you all again? The apartments were supposed the be “luxury” and I see they have since removed that adjective from their description because wasn’t anything luxury about the apartments. And not to mention the roaches they have and the extreme amount of frogs everywhere.
