Service was spectacular. He had a great personality and served us well. His wine presentation is top notch. We came in during queen feast. Their poultry & salad with egg appetizer was excellent and their deer entree aswell. Dessert was okay and side dish (carrot & gravvy (deer)) was a little on the saltier side. Ambiance excellent!! Minimalistic layout with a European mountain silhouette. #cohesive

Absolutely phenomenal service, food and drinks! An all rounder. We didn't make a reservation but were able to sit at the bar and we were so glad we did. We got looked after by Taylor who was absolutely amazing at conversation, drinks and recommendations. She recommended drinks as we both had not been here before and I got the Bourbon based cocktail with raspberry puree. I don't remember what it was called but it was perfection. She recommended an IPA for my companion. We decided on the bar bites rather than a bigger dinner and the pork sliders do not disappoint not do the truffle fries with aoili. Do not hesitate to go here Vegetarian options: Definitely had a really good variety of dishes at this place. Dietary restrictions: I told Taylor as soon as soon as I sat down that I have a severe shellfish allergy and it helped recommend items and also inform the chef

Food is fantastic but the portions are very small for the price. Service was lacking and the overall vibe was snooty, probably won't be back.

Was excited to try Bar Marcel for the first time for Valentines Day dinner, but waited 45 minutes after being seated for appetizer and bottle of wine to hit the table due to numerous bottles being sold out (we were told in about 10-15 minute increments after making replacement wine selections). Dinner finally arrived about 1 hour 15 minutes after being seated. Osso buco and wild boar pasta dishes were good, but nothing special, and seemed to be missing something. Lastly, staff closed the restrooms during our dinner while there were still several couples left in the restaurant. The restaurant itself is a beautiful space, but after our less than ideal experience on Valentines Day, I would not recommend Bar Marcel to others looking for a romantic date night.
