I have had ADT for three years. On July 1, I called to cancel my services and was told that I had to send a letter in order to do so. I asked specifically what needed to be included in the letter and was told that I only needed to state that I wanted to cancel services. I sent the letter the same day. This week I received a bill for next months services. When I called customer service this time I was told that my letter was received, but was not processed because there was no signature. I was not told that a signature was required even when I asked specifically what was needed. If you are looking for security for your home or business, I would not suggest ADT. Something as simple as cancelling services has become a major task.
