I love living in Camden Lake Pine, not only is it beautiful, but its right on a gorgeous lake and within walking distance to groceries, gas, and restaurants! Easy access to the highways too. The office staff is wonderful, they schedule activities for us & our pets! And the maintenance team is the best Ive ever experienced in any complex hands down! Within less than 24 hrs your issues are fixed!!!!

Where to begin... let's start with the good. The maintenance team is awesome. Now for the rest... plan on an increase anywhere from $2-300 per month every year, but no added value. Dog poop everywhere. Trash pickup canceled several times per month with no other options, but you will still pay for it and have to store it in your apartment. Pools are cleaned semi annually. No enforcement of the number of people you can invite to the pools either, so dont expect much more than a typical public pool setup. Landscapers will happily blow rocks at your car. Don't plan on direct contact with most of the staff, a few of them do try (thank you Mason!), but clearly corporate just wants them collecting rent and not much more). Otherwise it's off to the call center where your messages will not be returned for days and weeks. No upgrades while you live in the unit. For those you will need to move out then back in. Any issues with neighbors? Don't call Camden, they will say it's not their problem, and tell you to call the police no matter how small the issue, because the police love being called to enforce lease related issues. And if you love the look of cigarette buts all over the place, this is the place for you (even though it's a smoke-free community). In short, the place has gone down hill significantly since we moved in. Turned out to be less expensive to buy a house with actual water views than to stay here. But do your research, talk to current residents (away from staff), read the fine print, and don't forget to budget for those monthly increases and useless additional service fees every year.

I did not rent here. This review is solely about my tour experience. I toured this property with Mason Ward and had a great time. He was light hearted and joking, even when I informed him mid-tour that these apartments wouldn't work for us. The apartments were lovely and I was ready to show them to my husband. Roomy, accessible floorplan available when we needed to move in, access to a bus stop, etc. However, the buildings are quite old (but appreared to be well maintained). That meant that isn't a single ethernet port in the entire unit. For people who game regularly (like my husband) or work from home and require more than an average internet connection (like my husband), that could spell trouble. So, it was disqualified. I think these units are perfect for anyone who doesn't require very strong internet connect on a daily basis and who doesn't work from home most days, so the average person. These apartments are close to a grocery store, a GoTriangle bus stop, and loads of restaurants. Honestly, small families would probably thrive here.
