Ridgeway Inn

All we requested.  Not even a walk to eating and shopping. Short drive to the Rock. Comfy beds.  Quiet place. Just what we were looking for.

Upon check in i immediately called because our room smelled of mold. Room 118 at the Ridgeway Inn. Left a message with the front desk. Didnt get a call until the next morning and I explained the situation. I also mentioned the bathroom was dirty. I didnt ask for anything at that point because we were checking out. Later when getting home the bottoms of our socks all smelled of mildew. I called and spoke to the manager to ask for compensation because $300 per night is beyond unreasonable with this hassle. He told me no and hung up on me. Really rude. So please book at your own risk. Wont be returning. The photo below is the trim in the bathroom.

Pros: Great Location- walkable distance to restaurants and town. Bed was comfy Cons: there was some sort of plumbing noise all night in our room. Both nights. First night almost impossible to sleep- high pitch sound as if the water pressure was too high or who knows. I had to turn on a sound machine to try and drown it out. During the day we didnt r notice as loud it but at night it was terrible. The sound was in the walls I guess Bc we couldnt find anything that was causing it. Normally noises dont bother me but this was too loud and too constant. Bathtub was full of some sort of small rocks or dirt I had to clean it before I could shower. During the shower there was a loud banging noise and the water stopped coming from shower head. Had to restart the water. It was also cold/ then hot and not comfortable to shower. For the price- wouldnt recommend.
