The McDowells are literal angels. They've helped our family move twice now and both times they've been nothing short of amazing. Last week I hired a four-person team from McDowell Family Movers for a move within Asheville. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. They were right on time (never a given in Asheville!) and worked their butts off from 9 to 5, wrapping, loading, and unpacking. They were completely professional and eager to help in any way, whether it was moving a piece of furniture to a different spot or helping me disassemble a crib that wouldn't fit through the door. We hit a few snafus with the piano and futon, but the team wasn't fazed at allthey just took the door off its hinges and continued on (and then put the door back on). On top of all this, they were just a nice, fun group of guys to talk to. I really, really hope I don't have to move again within the next 50 or so years, but if I do, I'm definitely going to call McDowell Family Movers. Services: Local moving, Oversized-item moving

McDowell Family Movers just finished moving some of our furniture to an apartment and the rest to storage.  Great guys!  Good sense of humor, hard workers, and best of all treated our furniture better than we would have.  Fair price.
