Installations Unlimited

Mark abandoned my project when it was half-finished because he essentially can’t coordinate his schedule with anyone outside of his immediate team. I was very up front with him that I had been coordinating countertop and cabinet design and installation before ever getting in touch with him. He knows that cabinet installation can be tricky to schedule and he knows that countertops take at least 4 weeks to arrive. Because he knows these things, and because I was so up front with him about the fact that others were performing this work, it is unacceptable to me that he overscheduled himself while we were waiting on counters/cabinet installation. He should know how to manage his own schedule and accommodate delays. I work with contractors all the time in my field, and I can tell you that this guy mismanaged his schedule and left me out to dry. Beyond this obvious shortcoming, there have been other issues with the work done. I have had to patch holes in the new drywall (why were they even there??). I have had to fix appliance installations—they literally just laid the appliances in place, without any fasteners. I have had to switch out the incorrect light fixture that was installed over my sink—I set out the exact fixture that needed to go there, complete with a note calling attention to it. However, that’s not even something that I should have needed to do, because Mark, acting as a general contractor (he is not a licensed contractor, by the way), was supposed to have communicated the project information to his subcontractor. Mark left debris in my yard; he ridiculed certain of my decisions and preferences for the work; he was terrible about communicating his needs until he was actually angry (why not just calmly let me know of the problem when it occurs??), and blew up on me, threatening to abandon work. He was also generally rude and slightly passive aggressive for most of the time that he worked for me. I genuinely tried to do everything in my power to coordinate, communicate, and make his job easier, but it was wasted effort on my part. I will never recommend Installations Unlimited to anybody. Who knows, maybe he can build a deck. But I would caution anyone against letting him in your house.

My wife & I have finally found a true professional with an excellent eye to detail for our bathroom project. The owner & his son & staff did an excellent job tiling the walls & installing two rounded niches in our bathroom. The tiles consisted of many different tiles from Mexico & Spain with plenty of cuts needed to the tiles & Mark was absolutely patient & pleasant to work with following our patterns. We would recommend Installations Unlimited to anyone needing a new project created, or build from this wonderful staff, they were so professional & easy to work with. We have seen their work portfolio on many projects from work done on other homes & we weren't let down one bit, they are really good at what they do! We plan on hiring them for our Master bathroom next & look forward to creating our dream master bathroom next, with Installations Unlimited doing it. We highly recommend this company to everyone.

We are very fortunate to have found Mark Hayner, his son Jeremy, and his company - Installations Unlimited,LLC. Mark and Jeremy are true professionals at their craft. They are very knowledgeable, reliable, and talented which is why we used them for two separate projects: a centerline wall removal/remodel, and a kitchen wall removal/remodel. The work they performed completely changed our home to function and feel very modern. We can't say enough good things about their recommendations, results, and, customer service. They always keep us informed on the schedule, and were very punctual. We look forward to working with Installations Unlimited, LLC again in the future! Todd and Jess

Called and arranged for quotation of work and timeline for construction of addition to existing deck. Mark was prompt in coming out to view the job, getting the quote back to me and realistic about his work schedule and when my job would start. He was on-time; worked hard all day - for two days and completed the additional deck. Amazing construction work, neat clean-up of the work site and completed on-time and totally wonderful job. I have had people over to enjoy the new deck and they all had compliments. We are already talking about more work next summer. AND the project came in exactly as quoted.

Mark, Thank YOU!!! You have given us another usable space for our home. Mark and Jeremy are professional, courteous, and truly skilled. Mark worked with us to create a vision, made adjustments on the fly and came in under budget. I was really impressed with their craftsmanship.
