Not sure where my one star rating has gone but here's another just so you are aware and updated! Dr. Ellison is a horrible doctor! I went to see him multiple times; for very specific issues. The only answers he provided were "I smoke too much and imagine my pain". Couldn't perform a basic physical exam to find a mass growing in me that I specifically explain where the location was. To top it all prescribed me Prozac after only listening to me for 5 minutes tops!!! Here's a great update for you Ellison; the "mass" is a cyst, the "imaginary" pain is a thicking in my colon and the Prozac was by far your most stupid call by far!! Hope you loose your license!! I'll be sure to try.

I saw two different providers here. Both were dismissive and condescending. One is no longer with this practice. The second, Dr. Ellison, over multiple visits insisted that I had anxiety that was the main cause of all my health issues and to seek therapy even though I kept telling him I wasn't anxious, though I did have anxiety symptoms. He did run some tests but refused the tests I requested, saying there was no way those things were related (he wrote it down a bit differently in my chart though). He did, thankfully, also referred me to a cardiologist. It turns out I have a medical condition that was causing most of my symptoms. The rest were due to the hormonal imbalances he refused to test for. All is well that ends well I suppose, but getting to the root cause was a wholly uncomfortable experience. One of the doctors I was referred to even said they had heard very bad things about Dr. Ellison's treatment of his patients. While his care was not completely incompetent, his bedside manner is incredibly poor. He treated me like I was an unintelligent child and as if I was refusing care when I was not nor had I. His visit notes didn't properly reflect the interactions we had. I did like his nurse very much. She was kind and personable. If this practice can be avoided, I would recommend you seek care elsewhere.
