I cannot say enough good things about the doctors and staff at Tomahawk Farm. Every single person, from reception to the nurses to the doctors are extremely helpful, friendly, and truly care about their patients and the patients families. As an added bonus, the animals and playground area for kids make going to the doctors a fun experience.

I love love love this practice and have never ever had anything less than a warming and positive experience with everyone who works there...however, since the pandemic and the opening of the secondary building to handle just sick visits, there have been multiple times where I have had to wait in my car with a sick child for up to two hours past my scheduled appointment time which is just unacceptable. There have also been multiple visits where I have had to wait in the rooms for a nurse or doctor for up to an hour with a sick infant and child which has been very challenging. I understand that things come up and delays happen, but when the nurse and doctor finally did come in they didn't even acknowledge that they were behind schedule or offer an sort of apology.

These last reviews are so out of line. I've been seeing the Odells for over 10 years with my 2 kids and I have never ever encountered any of the issues listed on the below comments. Seriously being upset because they are not longer taking new patients please get over it...stop complaining and go find another Dr like a normal person would hey are doing what's best for their current patients. As per the other issues you have encounter there they absolutely make no sense at all. They are very professional and caring and accommodating when needed. The office is clean and the staff is amazing and friendly. Dr Jaime and Greg Odell are very knowledgeable and caring. I definitely recommend them. I know my kids are in great hands!

I really really wanted to love this practice despite the anecdotes I'd heard. Unfortunately after a year of trying we're on a waitlist elsewhere. They really really messed up with my kid, somewhat unforgivable in my opinion, but I kept trying. Despite my telling them my preemie was constipated from our first appointment at a few days old and every month subsequently, all they did was suggest prune juice. They ignored signs of silent reflux and "forgot" he was on Neosure22 which is notoriously constipating. I finally took him to a GI myself, exasperated by the lack of support. I trusted them as his primary caregiver to guide us and because of them my son spent over 6 months of his life horribly constipated, affecting his growth and physical development. At 3 months when I mentioned his head flatness and apparent physical delays, they referred us to a private physical therapist without even discussing FREE Early Intervention if he qualified. After finding out about EI myself and requesting an eval, he did qualify, and the evaluators were appalled the doctors hadn't referred him way earlier. And that's not to mention the absolutely horrific office situation. I have never waited less than an hour for a scheduled milestone visit even when we're scheduled at opening. How is that even possible? Supposedly they're understaffed but that's not an excuse to overschedule. It's absurd. The petting zoo and more natural approach is nice but absolutely does not make up for the poor care. Also, forget having anyone call you back during the day if you have a question- you're more likely to hear from their rent-a-doctors who are on call. There's no portal or way to message either- you're just subject to counting on the receptionists to relay your message and have a nurse call you back. They regularly mess up our prescriptions, call them into the wrong pharmacy, and have billed incorrectly or left us in the lurch with insurance. Again, I tried for a year and really wanted this to be the family practice for us but you're better off going elsewhere.

Why keep a business profile, website etc if youre not seeing new patients. When asked if they had a waiting list, receptionist said the waiting list was full. Full? Really??? Bye, bye! Thank you for the rejection, I went to Northwell office where they received my child with open arms! Found a great pediatrician thanks to my wasted phone call to you.
