My experience here was terrible. Dr. Daniela Spitzer, and others in the office, proved themselves to be stunningly unprofessional. My girlfriend has severe panic disorder, and it occasionally leads to heart palpitations. We came in for a follow up appointment (our second time being there) and shortly after she was called in to see the doctor, she had a panic attack. The doctors response was to dial 911, and call for an ambulance, telling the EMTs that my girlfriend was pregnant (she is not, my girlfriend told Spitzer a few minutes prior that it was her time of the month, and Spitzer had already done, and seen the results of, blood and urine tests), that she was on multiple medications (she is not, Spitzer knew this too) and that she was "crazy" (a doctor said this). For clarification, when my girlfriend has a panic attack, she curls up in a ball and sobs heavily, maybe trembling. No shouting or violence, or any threatening behavior. Knowing that, I'm perplexed at Dr. Spitzers decision to dial 911 a SECOND time, calling for the police. When all of the police and medics arrived (about 10 to 15 minutes after all of my girlfriends panic symptoms completely disappeared) everyone in the office denied lying over the phone. Nobody took responsibility for the blatant lies that were told. The "doctor" then gave my girlfriend a list of tests to be run in the emergency room, none of which were related to panic attacks (which was the primary reason for the call). We were then taken to a real medical center, where an actual medical professional explained that Ms.Spitzer did in fact send us for tests that aren't available in the ER, and that they weren't available because there is almost nothing that can be done about panic attacks in an ER, and that this is assumed to be common knowledge in the medical community. If you're comfortable getting care from people who have proven themselves to be liars and, in my opinion, cowards, then go right ahead. My girlfriend and I will never return. Shame on this establishment.
