Fantastic food. Very friendly waitress. Food arrived 15 minutes after we placed our order. By far my favorite restaurant. The portion was great too. I saved the left over's for lunch the next day! Fantastic!!!! Great pricing. Excellent variety. Recommended to all of my family and friends.

Chicken Francais was to die for. Significant other ordered seafood fra diavlo. He has this at many places but this easily was the best. Chocolate Kahlua cake was rich and intense. Service was very efficient and ambiance was very romantic.

have been dining at The Villa Valenti for well over 20 years and they are by far my favorite restaurant in the area . My whole family loves to go there as they offer something for everyone for my children to my parents ...We love all their dishes so I cant pick just one ...The salad bar is outstanding and the deserts are to die for ...Id also like to mention that every time we go their they are always busy and staff still treats us if we are her only table ..The drinks are also delicious ...I really cant say enough except you have to try them just once and you will be a life long customer as we are .
Overall, the food is excellent from start to finish. The service there is very good. The servers take care of our needs by checking up on us often, refilling the glasses with ice water, bringing food out in a timely manner, offering fresh ground pepper & grated cheese on the food, clearing used dishes between courses, and brushing off the table cloth.

The Villa Valenti is my favorite restaurant in the capital district. I've been dining there with my family and friends for as long as I can remember. Their meals are always outstanding as usual and the service is fabulous. I love all their dishes but my favorite would be any one of their pasta's. Even though it was very busy, all the waitresses calmly took their time to sing happy birthday to me and served me a delicious desert. I love it their so much I was there Friday and Sunday. Once with my boyfriend and last night with my family. On the first night with my boyfriend we split the tiramisu which was out of this world!!!! I was there last night for a surprise birthday dinner. I am not big on surprises but I had the best time. And for the family dinner we had the chocolate Kahlua layered cake which was to die for. Due to being a vegetarian the salad bar is a plus. Their vegetables are so fresh it seem as they were just picked out of the garden. In addition, the selection of dressings are impeccable. I have never had a problem at The Villa other than the portions being so large that I always leave with a doggy bag and a full stomach! I promise that once you dine there you will definitely want to experience it all over again. I give them 10 thumbs up!

We hadn't been here in several years and remembered it being very good. I called to see if we needed reservations or if there was long wait, and was told it would not be a long wait for a table for two. it was not offered or suggested to take our name down for a wait list. When we got there, the hostess was surprised we had been told that, and advised it would be a 25-30 minute wait, She then suggested we should have given our name for a list. We chose to wait , and they were right on target as it was 25 minutes- which I found acceptable.We were taken to our table and shortly after , our order was taken. That is when everything went downhill. We went the salad bar - none of the labeled ladels in the dressing vats actually matched th type of dressing, so it was a guessing game as to what was what.Once we had eaten our salads, we waited, and waited , then waited some more...We never once saw our waitress again until 40 min after placing our orders, when she came and said we hadn't been forgotten- the kitchen was behind and everyone was waiting for their meals ...she disappeared again . We were just about to get up and walk out when FINALLY 1. 5 hrs after placing our orders, we were served our food. .Our orders were taken at 5:30 pm and our food was not served until 7:00pm. My Cioppino boasted calamari as one of the seafood ingredients, however , there was absolutely not one shred of calamari in it. .Other than that , my meal was fairly good. My husbands' Veal Parmagiano - the veal was paper thin with an approxiamtely an inch layer of breading on either side - the breading was so thick, that all you coud taste was breading,until he finally scraped off all of the breading . Needless to say, it was a VERY poor experience for average to mediocre food .Ifind it absolutely unacceptable to wait and hour and a half to be served your food once your order was taken, and the fact that we were "abandoned " by our waitress the entire time...her excuse was " shewas embarrassed to come to us because the wait was so long," Maybe so ....but maybe we wanted a drink , or SOMETHING ?????
