Nuvance Health Medical Practice - Primary Care Woodstock

the doctors here are great - have had multiple issues with Trish at the front desk. i'm a student away at college who needs my prescriptions refilled, so i called the office to have them sent by mail order. first time i called, she had no idea what I was asking for. second time, she said she sent them in, and i never received the confirmation. I had to call two other times just to have her understand what I needed! i'm actually not sure how she has this job, because she can't do anything right.

I've been going to Maverick for 20 years, all through changes of ownership and practitioners. It's gone downhill over time with regard to care and how rushed & stressed the staff are. During my physical this year, the nurse forgot to take my BP and the P.A. spent just a few minutes with me after a wait of over an hour. Then during a telehealth follow up because of concerning bloodwork results, the P.A. (Susan Begnal) was rushed--spent about 8 minutes with me before hanging up--very rude and dismissive, and basically offered no guidance. Then Nuvance billed me for 30 minutes of a doctor's time. They should be ashamed for destroying a great practice and I'm definitely looking elsewhere.

Dr. Foster is nice! However, the waiting time is incredibly long!!! You have to have ample time to wait! Update: Over time, even with Covid, this has been remedied and when I call, they offer to get me in right away! Eugene J Dougherty is a great Dr.! He listened, and provided me with extra information and references as well as treatment and did a follow up appointment to check on me. I highly recommend them!
