Buffalo Medical Group

This medical group has issues with communication. In an attempt to obtain lab orders i contacted them 4 or 5 times, and was told the orders were sent. Missed 2 bloodraw appointments. They either were not sent and i was being pacified or they do not know how to use a fax machine. I tried being kind, always asking, could you please fax to this number... but somehow it just could not be done. Finally i had to Karen it and cause a fuss and then all of a sudden there are the lab orders! Miracle! But my pcp is apparently a snowflake and now refuses to see me. Then also refuses to release important medical information to me so i can receive a covid vaccination. Don't become a patient and if you don't have an opinion on your own care

Very unprofessional. Almost cost my husband his life. Once you get taken off of remicade you cannot go back into it or else you could possibly die. They tried to have my husband go back on it for his crohns. Then refused to see him because he had an outstanding bill. The only reason he had an outstanding bill was because they failed to inform him of an infusion that wasn’t covered. Also on top of that they left his cetons in him for years without any further treatment or plan for removal. Highly DONT recommend.

I was supposed to have a CT scan done today. I never leave my house during covid. Got there and they advised that they had cancelled my appt because the procedure was still pending approval with my insurance company. No call beforehand. I had to take time off of work to come in, just to be turned away. Phones are SUPER easy to use, and you giys had 4 days to let me know beforehand. Always a joke coming here.

Im of the opinion that doctors should be professional and not make fat jokes at the expense of their patients, making what is already inherently an uncomfortable situation more uncomfortable. Discuss weight with your patient fine, but bedside manner is an important aspect of the medical practice and making your patients feel lesser is not good practice.
