Dr Kimmelstiel performed an open hernia surgery for me at Mt. Sinai West in November 2021. I could not be more pleased with the process snd the outcome. Highly recommended surgeon.

I needed gallbladder surgery a few months ago, right before COVID-19 hit NYC. The pain got so bad—after several ER visits—that Dr. Kimmelstiel moved the surgery up a week. He had an excellent bedside manner, and his staff was extremely accommodating and friendly.

Dr K is one of the most empathetic, compassionate and professional doctors I have ever had. I had surgery and the post area looks absolutely amazing. Every single time I go into his office it is quick and easy. The front receptionist is also top notch. I recommend him absolutely!

Professional in every way. Careful and Precise. As a health care professional I’m not usually the patient. Dr. Kimmelstiel I can only say was very careful and precise in my surgery. A week out from my surgery I’m not even swollen around my surgical site. My recovery time I can tell was due to a cleanly executed and delicate surgical manner. As an old world gentleman (in a good way) I would imagine word of mouth is the calling card of his practice. I would imagine he spends more time working with his patients than promoting himself. I would highly recommend him to any of my own family of patients.
