Cleaning by Fredericks

Although the manager is very unprofessional and rude, I have been going here for about two years due to the convenience of it being close to home. But I have had it now. I went in with my uniforms as I do every week, and also brought in a dress that I was going to wear to my son's graduation (I brought it in 2 weeks before the graduation, telling them I'd need it 11 days after the initial drop off), and when I went in to pick it up, half of my uniforms weren't cleaned yet and the dress wasn't tended to at all. I spoke to the young lady there whom called the manager on the phone. She passed me the phone and the manager blatantly told me I hadn't given enough time and that if I didn't like their services, to go elsewhere and that she was done assisting me and hung up. The young lady attempted calling her manager back without success. I WILL NO LONGER BE GIVING THESE PEOPLE MY BUSINESS AND SUGGEST YOU ALSO DO THE SAME!!!! Service: Clothing alterations & repairs

Last week I dropped off some shirts, slacks and sports coat at Frederick's dry cleaners on Mamaroneck Avenue in White Plains. I have used them for many years even though they sometimes have come up short on execution, in my opinion. I told the person there that one of my shirts need a cuff button replaced and that I needed everything back on (last) Thursday because I was going away Friday morning - I dropped off on Monday to make sure they had time. When I went there late Thursday afternoon, I was told that nothing would be in before Friday afternoon, as that was what was put in their system as the date wanted. Having returned, I went there yesterday to pick everything up. When I got there, they told me that they could not clean one of my shirts as it required dry cleaning. This was a cotton shirt that they have cleaned many times i the past. The person I spoke with yesterday agreed that there was nothing to indicate "dry clean only" and had no explanation as to why it wasn't done. I also saw that the cuff button on the shirt was not replaced even though my receipt showed a charge for a button replacement. I then noticed that my sports coat had a 1-2 inch mark on the sleeve from a marker or a pen. The person there called the store manager to let them know that I was extremely unhappy with the service. She then gave the phone to me so I could speak with the manager, who then told me that she didn't want to hear what I had to say and hung up on me. The person in the store called her back and told me that the manger refused to speak with me. Needless to say, I will NEVER patronize Cleaning By Frederick and recommend that no one else does. Friendly and convenient service. Highly recommend. They had my clothes dry cleaned and ready for me the next day.

I would literally never recommend this place to anyone in white plains. There are so many better options with better customer service to go to. Not only did they NOT have my shirt dry cleaned on time, they did not call me. I went to pick it up on the day of an event and was told it was not done yet - but that I could pick it up in their facility in Thornwood (almost half an hour drive). I was offered no discount and had to buy a new shirt. When I went to get my shirt a week later, I wasnt even offered a discount. Only after expressing how unbelievable it was that I was expected to pay full price did they offer me a small discount. Horrible customer service. Will be going to ANY other dry cleaner in white plains.
