Vireo Health is one of New Yorks too-rare recreational and medical marijuana distribution outlets. Youd never suspect it was legal (or voter approved) by the looks of it. This sorely outdated site screams SHAME, from its bland colors to its bizarrely disguised exterior to its horrendously stark interior. Only a giant skull with crossbones is missing to complete the general feeling of discomfort in this storefront. Ive argued long and hard against NYs weird marijuana color scheme. Instead of actual info for best use or flavor or smell, instead of notes about strains and terpenes and trichomes, New Yorkers get arbitrary colors without any reference to reality. As if marijuana had not been in wide and safe use for thousands of years, as if strong or weak and more or less were marijuanas only attributes. This dangerously antiquated classification system leaves users unable to select strains for specific ailments. While NY States outlandish ignorance of reality may be the laughing stock of the nation, its local impact has been even worse, wiping out millions of investment dollars from would-be growers and distributors whove waited patiently for NY to join the 21st century. That oddity is uniquely a NY state issue, easily resolved when a saner, friendlier administration finally takes over. But the problems at this sad little storefront are Vireos alone. Ive found nowhere else in New York or the entire East Coast as dismal, as ashamed, as unwelcoming as Vireo. But Vireo had a big sale last week and Im a known sucker for anything better than NY's overtaxed prices. So I held my nose and ordered. Nice to see that there are finally a few strains listed, even actual effects. Plus, of course, their uniquely silly rainbow of colors. I preordered so my visit would be as short as possible. Instead, Vireo chose to cancel my order because my registration was outdated. If theyd asked, Id have sent new info to them. But no, because a phone call was too must, I had to wait. I dont know what hell might be hidden in their back room but my tiny four-item order took over 20 minutes to fill. Two packs of chewables, two vapes. Thats it. There were zero people in the story other than the excellent and very accommodating staff. No one came in after me, no one was heading out. Just me in the eerily empty store the entire time. And yet it took twenty minutes for the staff to stick my four little pre-packaged products into a small paper bag. I paid and left and vowed never to return. Until the next sale, I suppose. The prices really were good. But Ill opt to have it delivered if I use Vireo again. This is no place anyone would want to be by choice.

Ive seen some awful reviews for this location and Im here to tell you its all NONSENSE. Just people that cant understand the theory of supply and demand. They are kind, polite and extremely helpful. No one has ever judged my orders or me for that matter. And most importantly they give me the most courteous service. I personally use it for chronic pain. They never disappoint and always answer any questions I may have and they do it politely. From reception, to the doctors to the dispensers AMAZING AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Thank you for your amazing service. IT IS A VERY DISCRETE LOCATION AND CLEAN. JUST MAKE AN APPOINTMENT, DO AS YOURE TOLD AND HAVE PROPER DOCUMENTS. EASY AS THAT!

wrote a review and the owner told me to contact them via email, that was two weeks ago and two emails sent and the only emails I received were that they received my email and would get back to me. This corporate office is just as dishonest and untruthful as the employees at the white plains location, be careful with this specific location and company because they will be nowhere to be found if you have an issue, which is criminal because its a medical dispensary not a hotdog truck parked on the side of the road. No wonder their company is hemorrhaging money and their stock price is under 50 cents. NY state should investigate this company because they have shown their true greedy colors, and theres no way theyre following the NYS cannabis laws, they operate nothing like Curaleaf, Etain, and Verilife, which all have live customer service to help you, not just automated AI email grift, Etain is literally a few blocks from this place, its all female owned and a much better product, atmosphere, and customer service, Curaleaf, and Verilife are great to, further away, but they offer free delivery

Good products but make it extremely uncomfortable when going in there and making a purchase . Act like its a top secret place and the way they act is just wierd. Very cold feeling . Dont let the pharmacist push on you what he wants to sell ! Pick what you want. I tired to change my order once over the phone and gave me such a hard time omg. Get the delivery if you can Instead of going in there .
