This company has horrible customer relations. I wrote an email requesting an appointment, heard nothing back from anyone. I drove 1.5 hours and was told there was NOTHING they could show me. I refuse to do business with anyone that acts this way. My time is just as important as theirs!

WOW! I have NEVER had anyone help me so much while knowing I would not buy something from them. Whomever feels Chris is not a stand up guy must be nuts. He spent time explaining information about fireplaces and he is a wealth of information. He had great advice and I can promise when I replace or need a new fireplace- I know where to go. It is nice to see a businessman with a passion for his chosen field. What a pleasure!

We were looking for the proper heating lamps for our home and business. Chris was friendly, honest and directed us in the best direction for us... not for him. He readily shares honesty, integrity and now he has our loyalty.

In July, 2020, I contacted Beach Stove and Fireplace and scheduled a service call and explained in detail that the gas log fireplace was not working, I travelled for work and would not be at my home until late Fall and I needed to ensure that the fireplace was in good working order. I was assured that an honest assessment would be performed and I would be advised if I needed to replace the log set, or if only a simple repair was necessary. The service person came, and said all was fine, serviced the gas fireplace - charged me a SIGNIFICANT sum, and left. The remainder of the summer until November, the fireplace was not used. When I returned home home and put on the fireplace this November 2020 , it did not work. I called the store and spoke with a gentleman who identified himself as Chris who was extremely rude. He continued to interrupt me as I explained the situation and then said the store does not provide any warranties on their work. BEWARE. I would leave 0 stars if this was possible.

True customer service is increasingly hard to find, but Beach Stove and Fireplace is a shining example. We bought a modular home, and the factory installed a gas fireplace, which didn't work once the house was sited and finished; the factory service people wouldn't touch it, saying that they aren't licensed in NY, and offered no help. The sales representative (also the person we hired as site manager) was equally unable or unwilling to help. We are glad that we found Beach....via Google. Despite the fact we hadn't bought the unit from them, Chris was very responsive and attentive. In addition to amazing expert knowledge and technical prowess, Chris went out of his way to help me get my installation up and running, and was very generous with his time (including a 40 minute over-the phone consultation to walk me through steps setting up replacement parts that we had to buy from him (so much for the warranty from the modular house factory). If you are considering a fireplace in eastern Suffolk, this is the place to go!!! I can't say enough good things about our experience.
