Saf-T-Swim of Westbury

The door was locked even thought it was 2:26 PM Friday,No paper on door that they shut down and I was kinda creeped out how the door locked on me and someone came with me they were outside and the door didn't open in the front and on the right it was locked no sign saying they closed or what and I saw 2 or 3 lights on and at the lobby Very dark and I saw the hall with plenty of light!It was Very creepy does someone know anything?

I love the instructors we have but the administrative staff needs improvement.

I am very disappointed in Saftey Swim. While the instructors are great- the system is crooked. First off- it is very hard to get through to a manager. I have been waiting 1 month to speak with a manager regarding resolving an ongoing issue. When I first signed up- I was informed that the make up sessions do not expire. I kept my kids home when they have been exposed to Covid for the saftey of others. I also left them home when they has slight sniffles as it is the responsible thing to do. I felt at ease knowing that my make ups would not expire. About 2 months ago- I was confirming the make ups with staff and that's when they informed that my make ups expired. I was very upset and have been waiting a month to hear back from a manager. Secondly, I booked sessions for both my kids in April back in Oct. Upon speaking to staff last month- they said my kids were not in the system for April which made me very upset as we spent like 25 min on the phone doing this. I even spoke with a manager, Josh, at one point who apologized and said that they just got a new system and new staff. It's been a a big headache trying to get in touch with a manager and resolve these issues. If anything changes l- I will revise my review however, this is currently my experience.

I'm a first time mom and when it comes to my son  I do a research until I find the place that seems best for my child. I visited a few places including other safe t swim locations and this location was by far the best. The ppl at the front always greet you with a smile and ask how your day is going and that includes acknowledging my 4 yr old. Now the lessons.......I can not say enough wonderful things about Teddy. He is caring, patient and truly loves what he does which shows when I see how much my son's confidence and trust in the water has developed. We really hit the jackpot with Teddy as our coach. My son went from hysterically crying to trying to show off in front of me when it's time to get out of the water. During the pandemic they kept sending emails with updates which I greatly appreciated. Now that the facility is open again I'm glad to say they haven't disappointed and have been taking all the safety precautions. Thank you safe t swim!!!
