A patient of South Bay for many years. Delivered two kids with this practice. The care I receive from the doctors is excellent and Im glad I have several female doctors to choose from. Id like to point out the staff as well. Always friendly and quick to get information/appointments and call backs. It makes a difference when the staff is as good as the docs. Makes for a better, overall experience.

South Bay is great, really lovely doctors who actually take the time to listen to you and make you feel heard instead of feeling like a copay. Tina at the front desk is amazing, shes always so helpful.

Not compassionate care. I was never really happy with this place. They keep you waiting forever with no explanation and the place is run very much like a factory. But I did like some of the doctors, and for that reason, I stuck it out. After my last experience, I will never go back. I went in for my first ultrasound at 8 weeks pregnant. I found out I was measuring a couple of weeks behind, so they told me to come back in 2 weeks. I went back at 10 weeks pregnant and was coldly told by the ultrasound technician that there was no heartbeat. I was then escorted to a doctor's office and left there to cry for what feels like an eternity. I ultimately could not wait anymore and left. The doctor called me a few minutes later and I was just so stunned by the loss and the lack of compassion shown to me that I could barely speak. I called the office the next day to request medication. The person I spoke to offered no condolences. I then spoke to the doctor, who asked me to come back in in 2 weeks for a follow up visit. I told her I would never come back because I wasn't happy with the care I had received. I ended up having to get a D&C elsewhere because the medication didn't work. I wondered if someone from South Bay would follow up with me in 2 weeks. They didn't.

After waiting 1.5 hrs in the waiting area for a scheduled appt (2 hrs total and I was pre-checked in), I was placed in an examination room where after another 25 minutes, one of the assistant popped her head in and told me the Dr was coming. I left there 2.5 hrs later with no examination and not seeing the Dr. This has become their normal at this office but it has become worst over the years. Appointments are made 2-4 months in advance so you can sit in the wait for hours. You then go into a room where you normally sit 15-30 minutes. The schedulers are either overbooking or they prioritize walk ins before scheduled appointments. I am looking for a new Dr. The doctors there are excellent but the check in coordinators always seem to get it wrong. All appointments are 1/2hr to 2.5 hr wait.
