Dormer King

Dormer King recently completed construction on the first floor of our home and added a dormer as well. Their work was excellent, with attention to detail evident throughout. The addition seamlessly integrated with the existing structure and enhanced both the aesthetic appeal and functionality of our home. The team was professional, skilled, and attentive to our needs. Their customer service was outstanding, with prompt communication and a commitment to satisfaction. I would highly recommend Dormer King for any construction needs.

This is a long overdue review. I hope this review helps those looking at Dormer King. My house was a ranch, and we needed more space, so my husband and I decided to build out our home. I was looking for a contractor to build the second floor and redo the entire first floor. That was in 2019, our first construction. I heard so many horrible stories from friends and colleagues about hiring contractors, charging so much more than the quote, causing so much delay, not enough people working at the site, etc., that I was nervous going into it. The way I went about my research was to drive around my neighborhood looking at houses that had dormer extensions done, knock on their doors, and talk to the homeowners about their contractors and experiences. Coupled with online research and calls, I narrowed my choices to 3 and got quotes, including Dormer King. By the way, the homeowner who worked with Dormer King had nothing but good things to say about them. Additionally, the person who came to my house to give me a quote was knowledgeable and answered all my questions. He also explained that I would be making payments as the work progresses, but after the work is done, not before, so there is no pre-payment! After the contract was signed, my contact was Tommy. He's amazing. What you don't know until they start the work is that there's a fleet of crew behind Dormer King. We lived in the basement while it all happened, so we saw the progress every day. Once we got started after finalizing the plan, there were at least 5-10 people at my house every day. The entire house, except for the kitchen, was done in like 2 months!! The kitchen took longer because it took several weeks for my kitchen appliances to come from overseas. I was just amazed! I sent videos to my friends and family, and they were all shocked to see so many people working at my house and how fast it got down. Everyone was so helpful, courteous, and amazing in helping me through the process. They did not charge me more than the quote, and I could honestly say the whole process was really easy, simple, and trouble-free! Best of all, they did an amazing job, and they stand by their work! Minor issues after the construction, they came fast and fixed it with no hassels. Just last week, I had an issue with one of the windows, and Tommy, after all these years, was so nice. They came back and took care of it! I definitely recommend Dormer King!!!!

It has been an amazing experience to witness the professionalism, workman ship and timely delivery of the project from the beginning to the end demonstrated by the Dormer King. We couldnt have asked more from you all. We are absolutely pleased with the way our house was handled and remodeled. Our sincere appreciation for the Dormer King will remain for ever.
