We first met Dave at a cousin’s wedding. We started talking and hit it off. Right then and there we decided to hire him for our wedding the following year. This was THE ABSOLUTE BEST decision we made! Dave is seriously so talented – he managed to capture EVERY SINGLE candid emotion of the day and still did so with perfect lighting and composition. He can make what may seem like a field of weeds and shrubbery into a stunning masterpiece you are bound to frame and hang on your wall. Friends and acquaintances would come up to us at social events and go on and on about how beautiful and unique our wedding photos are. On top of this, Dave has an incredibly fast turn-around time for editing and publishing photos. He repeatedly got back to our emails and questions within hours, which goes to show how dependable he is. On our wedding day, Dave always checked in, asking us if there was something else we wanted captured or a certain family photo we needed. Dave even showed us a couple sneak peaks on his camera here and there, which was so fun! But even before the big day, he was professional and genuine – met with us on countless occasions to organize, plan, and get to know us better. I have nothing but amazing things to say about Dave – he is a MUST HIRE. In fact, we loved him so much, we asked him to shoot our dental office staff photos! 5 stars without a doubt.

We loved working with Dave and Melissa for our wedding. They took the time to get to know us before our wedding and definitely embraced our personalities, as they shine through in all of the photos from the day. It was really nice to not have to worry about dividing photo time with the bride and groom when we were getting ready that morning, as Dave stayed with the groomsman and Melissa was with the bridal party. They also did a wonderful job at wrangling family members/friends for some priceless group photos that are now a framed staple in every immediate family household. They are down to earth, easy to work with, and have amazing ability to capture the true feeling behind the huge day.

Dave has been amazing! He captured our engagement photos in the Rochester area and will be photographing our wedding this fall. He has been a professional, but also so personable and genuine throughout the entire process. He takes the time to get to know his clients, their interests, and what they want! We would definitely recommend Empire West Photo!

Hiring Dave Jones from Empire West was the BEST decision I made while planning our wedding. Our pictures turned out to be unique and incredibly special to us. People I haven't even talked to in years reached out to me on social media to tell me how amazing our wedding photographs are. Dave is so talented, particularly when it comes to taking candid pictures. Also- Dave is an awesome guy!!! He's great to work with and even helped with other details aside from photography to help the day go smoothly. My only regret is that we did not hire him for the rehearsal dinner as well!
