Danaren Dental Laboratory

I had a upper roundhouse bridge made for a patient. The bridge broke in half. The patient did not want the same lab making the new bridge so I had to send it elsewhere. I sent the fractured bridge back to Danaren lab for credit. They said they dont give credit, they only remake it. I think that is very unprofessional. I gave them a lot of cases. Now they get zero.

I do mostly posterior zirconia with Danaren. Perfect margins on BWx and B/L. M/D contacts dead on 90% of the time. Occlusion near perfect most of the time, have to adjust the occasional balancing side contact but that's literally every lab unless you're sending in all your cases pre-poured and articulator/facebow mounted (which I don't, of course.) Beautiful occlusal characterization on every posterior crown. Best value and consistency I have ever found with a lab.

Being in practice for over forty years, I have quite a bit of experience with numerous dental labs. After using Danaren's parent company, Bonadent, for a couple of years we switched Danaren and found Peter Z. easy to work with and was satisfied with his work. Over the last year, however, my team has had to deal with numerous issues that we did not encounter earlier. Lost bites, broken dies and the lack of attention to our cases. I'm not sure why the quality has declined but it definitely has. This has become quite frustrating causing us to look elsewhere for our prosthetic cases. I usually give the lab the benefit of the doubt but not in this case. We have never had a financial issue with Danaren and have always been on automatic pay, but now they are not refunding charges for a case that we had to send to another lab to finish. I consider that policy unprofessional and quite frankly "sour grapes." My advice....buyer beware.
