        Love everything about the Grist Mill! There's history, there's a view, the drinks and food are great, service is attentive, and the prices are fair for such amazing ambience. I love the historical pieces all over the restaurant and the view of the Schroon River is beautiful!

        I had a lovely evening and delicious dinner at the Grist Mill this evening. Everything was done to perfection, and beautifully presented.

        Another little known dinning experience only 9 minutes from Lake George is the Grist Mill. Our waitress Joyce was fun & attentive. Our bacon wrapped shrimp & stacked eggplant parm were outstanding. The view of the river topped off a perfect meal. And no crowds!

        Been here numerous times but today was very disappointing. We walked up to host stand and stood there while 3 employees stood and talked among themselves. They didn't greet us or look at us. We finally said hello and one girl looked at us and said, we're waiting for tables. Very rude. We left.
