Concord Diner Corporation

This is what a diner should be: cheap, gigantic eats and greasy spooning. The wait staff and management are super friendly and accommodating, and I tend to eat at the hours that food is often poorly cooked at restaurants (10pm to 2am). The atmosphere here alone gets points. This is what diners were like for years. How they became something to be demanded of a higher quality spectrum is beyond me.

This place always takes care of me and my wife. I have been going here to eat for at least 20 years. The employees are very niiiiiiiiice and very attentive.

I went to the diner for a quick lunch by myself. I was seated at a table. Shortly thereafter, I was given a glass of water. I studied the menu and decided on a meal. 5 minutes went by, then 10. The diner was not crowded and there were at least 3 wait staff who were waiting on 3 tables around me. After 15 minutes, I got up and walked out. On the way out, I mentioned to the host/owner? that it had been 15 minutes and no one had even acknowledged my presence. He said, "I'll seat you over here and give you another waiter." No thanks, your diner is 3 minutes from my house, but I will willingly drive by it to go to a diner or restaurant that actually shows they want my business. The menu boasts about being in business for 50 years. I don't think the decor has been updated in 25. Don't try this place...they don't care.
