Transferred from my local hospital there for quad bypass and a valve job. I liked the teaching facility aspect. The nurses are top notch, experienced but not too comfortable to lose attention. My heart function was in the 20%-25% range. As of July it's 55% 4.5 years later. I'm told that's normal 😁. I'm by no means what I was but after flatlining TEN TIMES in less than two weeks, my meds make me super tired on the other hand, I should be 4.5 years 6 feet under. I can't thank everyone enough for giving me my life back. I was just about to give up the first night or two after surgery. The nurse spent virtually 2 full nights coaching me to breathe properly and not die on a ventilator (which I was on TWICE leading up to surgery). It's a weird feeling to know someone spent the time and energy on a stranger, a stranger I can't find and thank for my life. Nurses seem to have a calling, they may not have the training of the doctors but with robotic surgery becoming more prevalent, it's the Nurses who have the gift of bedside manners as they become more important in the treatment equation. Sorry for the tangent, it all comes from the "heart" Bad pun, great facility! Thanks for my life 💛💚💙💫

All of these one star ratings are ridiculous. This is what happens when people dont have Healthcare or don't get vaccinated. They swarm the ER/ED. That isn't the hospital's fault. There are only so many doctors and nurses and have to triage the cases. You aren't just a number, there are just too many sick and they aren't impersonal there are just too few of them.

Some people there are great.... some are horrible.. the horrible was really bad and audatious.....
