Ive had good times here before but we will unfortunately not be coming back. Its a nice enough course with good views and holes, but the treatment from the staff has been unacceptable. Dont bother going if youre not a pro player. Just to clarify the situation this latest time, my friends played today as a group of 3 along with my friends wife that rode with us but didnt play. We played through the first 9 keeping a pretty good pace with someone on the hole behind but never kept waiting. Even so we let them skip ahead of us. At the 10th hole we had one of the staff come up to us and tell us there had been complaints about us holding up the course despite the fact we had been playing fast (spent the same amount of time as they say is expected for the front 9) and had no one waiting. We were told to pick up the pace, and when we told them there was no one waiting for us and we were already running through we just got a shrug. We felt pretty uncomfortable and rushed about things after so our group decided to leave. We went up to the staff member after to clarify what happened (because once again we were rushing and had no one waiting) and we were told the actual initial complaint was that they saw my friends wife wearing a (ankle length) sundress and walking around on the course. We were told this wasnt allowed at all and that the others were upset, despite nothing being posted or told to us when we came, and the fact that she wasnt even playing. We brought up that this sounded sexist and we got told we were thinking about it wrong and that this was an overall rule (its not). And of course reiterated that we were taking too long and there were people waiting for us despite the fact that we know there werent. Overall the situation wasnt resolved and we played 11 holes out of the 18 we paid for because we felt too uncomfortable to continue. I would really recommend against going here if youre a novice player, or are a woman honestly. Were disgusted and will never come back. What a shame.

It is a nice place to hang out, host events, and play golf. The course is not well treated and cared for, but it has really good holes for starters and experienced players they have kids' golf events every summer and host East utica there.
