Best food we had vacationing in the area. Eggplant dumplings with polenta was incredible. We picked up a few desserts which were all excellent, other then the stonefruit cobbler with biscuits which wasn't bad but is probably better dining in. We got take out so it didn't seem to transport well. Everything else was great.

I can honestly say that this is the best food we had while visiting the Finger Lakes region. It certainly rivals the very best of the finest restaurants in larger cities. Extremely creative menu and use of local ingredients was the highlight! The ambiance was delightful, and the overall feel was very comfortable. Unfortunately, our dining experience ended on a negative note..... At exactly 90 minutes from the time of our reservation, and I am not exaggerating, our server placed the payment device on our table while my wife was still finishing her dessert, and we were both drinking coffee. I can certainly understand a time limit for dining if a restaurant is at capacity. However, at the time this was concluding ( not by our choice!) the restaurant was not even half full. Not the welcome we would expect for a more rural / country environment. We felt it was very off-putting.
