Pat Sr. and Pat Jr. are the best. From the moment our mother passed away at Calvary hospital until the day after the funeral they were there for us. The moment our mother passed away my wife call Pleasant Manor asking if they could come to the Bronx to pick her up so she would not have to go to the morgue. Pat Sr. was there within the hour. My wife called Pleasant Manor on the drive home and Pat Jr. said come by once you get your thoughts together. My wife, SIL and BIL arrived that afternoon and Pat Jr. made them feel so comfortable. They were in and out in no time with nothing to worry about. The wake was beautiful. Pat Jr. did an amazing job on my MIL. The video slide show was perfect. I gave him a flash drive with over 175 pictures and his program created a slide show. I brought him four flash drives the morning of the funeral and he had the slide show download on all four drives before we left for the church. The next day we sent a text to Pat Jr. asking for Thank You cards. He said they would be ready by 9am. We arrived at 9am just before another funeral was about to begin. Pat Sr. waived us in and said Pat Jr. had the cards. We drove up to the home and Pat Jr. came out and handed us the cards. Later that week we were back at the home for another wake. Pat Jr. was a gem. We cannot say enough about this family. They are amazing and they've earned all our future business. Let's just pray that is later rather than sooner. LOL

I can't say enough. The Director, Patrick McNulty, was such a pleasure to work with! My mother had passed. There were so many details to handle. He has a calm, compassionate manner, returns his calls immediately, and went above and beyond to take the stresses out of a terrible event. Everything was well organized, I just had to show up. Again, a bright light in dark times. I couldn't recommend himmore!

Pat was absolutely amazing. He was so helpful in so many ways. He was so responsive and answered all our calls every within the first ring. He cared for my family like it was his own. He is an amazing person. I highly recommend Pat and Pleasant Manor Funeral Home.

Exceptional care in every way is a family tradition. This is a family owned and operated company that has been around for decades. It all began in the Bronx. It's a rather large funeral parlor, set deep in the woods and it has a very mansionlike appeal to it. Every aspect of this business is owner operated and it has quite a personal touch. You're able to get water or coffee during your stay. This funeral home takes great pride in their work and it shows. If you do not know about it, then take the time to explore and go meet the owner. He is a fascinating professional who knows his business very well. Thoroughness, concern and respect are the attributes best describing the experience here.
