Kumon Math and Reading Center of Tappan

I started researching some places and landed with Kumon of Tappan as I was having trouble helping and teaching my daughter to read. Although she is only 5 it was a struggle helping her to learn to read and always ended in a battle with tears. My daughter was behind compared to her classmates. I've had her enrolled since Sept 2021 and what a dramatic change. She went from not being able to read to independent reading and writing quickly. Kumon has definitely paid off for us and has saved me an infinite number of battles. I would recommend it to anyone who's looking for help in math and reading.

My kids were falling a little behind in their studies. They needed a new way of thinking and solving their homework assignments. Kumon gave them the edge they needed to improve their grades and their confidence. Harjit is very professional, patient, and takes a personal interest in the kids' progress. Thanks, Kumon!

Whereas many have struggled to transition into an online learning environment, Tappan Kumon has adapted well and caters to individual students' needs! Mrs. Harjit takes attention to detail and takes pride in the success of her students! Highly recommended, and keep up the great work! Thank you everyone.

I love Kumon of Tappan! I have been to a couple other Kumons, but you cant even compare. My daugter joined a year ago and is already doing Math 2 grades above his school level. I also love that the center has assistance whenever needed. I work so I cant drive my daughter to classes weekly, but he gladly joins zoom sessions. Harjit is so attentive to every child. Kumon of Tappan I cant thank you enough for my daughters progress and for going above and beyond to make education fun.

I am so happy with the progress that my 5 year old is making with his math and reading. With the schools being virtual, it was impacting his learning, but this has been the best decision that I have made. Miss Harjit is offering both virtual and in-person classes at Kumon . She is extremely dedicated instructor ,very passionate about her work and I highly recommend Kumon of Tappan.
