        I am a Syracusan by birth and every time we make a trip back my wife must make a stop at Mimi's for Half Moons. We have tried them at the Pastry Palace and Harrison's and NOTHING can compare. The staff, and owner is always very friendly and helpful. I know no matter what I say we my wife will be insisting on a trip to Mimi's when we visit for Thanksgiving.

        I went in at 6:45 to get coffee. As soon as I walked in the door the lady behind the counter yelled at me "we don't serve breakfast till 7" but they advertise they open at 6! However I just needed coffee and she acted like I was personally offending her by ordering coffee. So rude! I will never be back. Why open at 6 if your aren't willing to serve till 7.
