Tender Loving Kids Club

I love this daycare! Luann, the owner, is awesome. She gives great attention to each child. The baby room is so warm and friendly, it’s like leaving my infant with family. My older son can be hard to manage, but the staff is always patient and helps him focus on his homework. It really becomes like a second family, and my kids have flourished here. The rates are reasonable. Other places I’ve toured the kids looked very unhappy, but here they are always having fun, no matter when I walk in. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for childcare!

Tender Loving Kids Club has made it easy for me to transition my child from solely home based childcare provided by family, to a more academic and social setting. As a first time parent, of course I was nervous. The teachers at TLKC were very patient, flexible, and accommodating with me, as well as my child. They are very caring. My child LOVED going to school. He learned so much. I felt very much at ease knowing that my child received such great care. It definitely made my day at work much easier to knowing I had such responsible, loving, and caring teachers taking care of my child.

Just want to shout out my daycare. I am fairly new to Suffern, and one of the scariest things was moving and not having anyone around to help me with my 14 month old at the time. Rhea loves her daycare! Ms.Lulu makes sure to give me a heads up if she sees anything wrong with her. I can text her at anytime. All her staff is simply sweet. The rooms are always clean, and bright. All the children look happy!

I don't know how to put into words how great this place is. We looked at many daycare centers and none can compare. The attention the children are given, the staff each one loving and nurturing, is top notch. They teach your child so that they are ready for school but most importantly they love your child. Thank you TLC your the best

DO NOT send your child here. I was a teacher for the school-aged children for quite a bit of time and developed a WONDERFUL relationship with each one of them and their parents as well. I received gifts from the parents and even babysat some of the children individually. The ONLY reason why I stayed for so long was for the kids and let me tell you why... All the owner, Luann, cares about is money. She is a selfish WITCH and watching the way she interacts with the parents vs the children is seriously sick and heart wrenching. Not only was she extremely rude to me and would she not even acknowledge me or smile every day I would come in for work (which I honestly would not mind putting up with), but she was MEAN to the children, and punished them all the time with not giving them snack, yelling AT THE KIDS for the most insignificant things, and I've also witnessed several children she's made cry. However, the second the parents walked through the door, she acts like an ANGEL. I am en route to becoming a pediatric psychiatric PA and I have never once in my life seen such a severe split personality in my life. Not only would I try my absolute best to make HER happy (even though I stayed so long solely for the well being and love I had for those children) but I even cleaned out her WHOLE closet, vacuumed and did so many extra chores that I was not required to do, I wouldn't even get a thank you. The worst part of this whole thing is the woman truly only cares about money, and THE KIDS SEE IT TOO. I've had almost all of the children I take care of say she is mean and two of my 9 yr old girls even said it to me that "Ms. Lu Lu only cares about money". She is on her phone 24/7 and seemed to be angry and miserable all the time and would just treat these children horribly. On top of it, every week I had to CHASE my paycheck and she would ALWAYS cut me short. She would give me excuse after excuse as to why she couldn't pay me on time and would constantly cut me short because she did the "math" wrong. One friday I didn't get paid, I had to text her wondering if I was going to get paid, and she responded with an irritated tone stating how she had "family emergency". Yet, RIGHT when I get out of work, I drive by her walking into a Japanese restaurant. This all ended when a month before the school year ended, she told me there weren't as many kids coming anymore so she didn't need me anymore. Not only did she make it EXTREMELY unclear that she was letting me go, she did not even give me the chance to say goodbye to any of the children. I had to find a job for the last month of the school year somewhere with no warning, and I texted her TWICE when she let me go to see if I can at least say goodbye to the kids, and I never got a response. I have worked with children for YEARS and I have never encountered such a SELFISH, superficial, human being in my life. She is horrible to both the staff and the kids (even though all 3 staff members that work there now are her mother, daughter in-law, and daughter in-law's best friend). I am making sure to write horrible reviews on every website I can find, to make parents aware of what REALLY goes on here, and to say that I will NEVER send my children to this day care for as long as I live, and I recommend you do the same.
