This library is so historic and beautiful, you literally feel like you're on the set of a colonial era movie when you're here. It's amazing. Lucky it's ours and thankful to the family that donated it to the community.

Beautiful old stone building, lovely and comfortable space. Fantastic children's room, full of books and a huge collection of stuffed animals, conveniently tucked in the back to contain the noise. Good selection, and it's also tied into the Hudson library system so you can request titles from all over the county and have them delivered for easy pickup.

Great little village library in an old stone house. The former living room has recently-restored portraits of local landowners who lived here two hundred years ago. The video collection is a large portion of the library's holdings, as befits an age when most people, young and old, have the attention span of a moth. Unfortunately Season Four of Game of Thrones was lended out when I visited recently, and the DRM features of _Wag the Dog_ made it impossible to play on my laptop. This was not the library's fault, of course. The next time I'm in town I'll browse their periodicals. Warning -- old house. Folks taller than 6'5" must duck!
