        My son and I did a tour of Fort Wadsworth led by Kathy today. She did an excellent job of sharing the history of the Fort and its makings. In addition, there was a Cub Scout group that was part of the tour. She was very patient and managed the kids well. She also involved them in the learning process and the kids were quite engaged! Kathy was very personable and friendly. We look forward to doing another visit!

        Nice place to walk/jog, learn some history, then relax. Previously erroneously thought they logged you in at the gate, but it's open to the public. Stay hydrated; water is available at the visitor center.
