Sunbelievable - Eltingville

Went in on a Friday afternoon after calling the day before for an airbrush spray tan. I was not greeted right when I walked in but finally was greeted by Nicolette who gave me a form to fill out, had me pay, and then took me to the room to spray tan me. She did not ask me how dark of a tan I wanted to achieve and did not explain much. She put barrier cream on my palms only then began spraying me. It took about 3 minutes, then I got dressed and left. She told me to wait 10 hours until I rinse the tan… well, it’s now 10 hours later and my tan is not dark at all and is blotchy on the wrists and feet. My chest is also super light. Overall the tan is uneven and I am very disappointed especially because I have an event tomorrow night. Go in the Versa machine at beach bum, you’ll look better than going to Sunbelievable.

Love this place! Really nice staff, really knowledgeable on what machines are appropriate for skin tone and how to build tan: they have lots of sales each month with money off points packages and lotions or 3 month point packages. They have at least 10 machines that can also be reserved by phone, lots of them are clean with up to date bulbs and music & fan systems that are customizable; they also have wipes towels in each room, goggles can be purchased at the front desk. I like the pineapple and blueberry machines they are really effective and ergoline is great for more advanced tanners too. Sunday deals are great you can buy lotion to tan instead of using your points. In general points last a year and you can even explore their standing self tan spray booths if you like that more( they have really good bride and groom packages too where they get one free tanning package). Overall this place is great for all levels with no gimmicks or hidden fees. You can find many self bronzed lotions or natural lotions for just base tan if you dont have your own to use.
