        As a new Staten Islander, joining Temple Israel was the best decision our family made. Our two young children have found faith, holiday fun, and friends and we have found a wonderful community.

        We inititally joined just for the religious school. My child is now in confirmation class lead by Rabbi Howald and she loves the discussions based around critical thinking and I've come to really appreciate the community and friends I've made.
