Dr. Scafuri and Associates

This office deserves nothing more than 1 star. The staff are all rude. Everyone rushes you out, the nurses dont even do a proper vital check. The nurse practitioner Amanda prescribed me methylprednisolone for a stuffy nose i dont have allergies what so ever. This place needs to be under review. Absolutely never going back.

Terrible front desk. Terrible dr or PA we saw. Rushed us out. Didnt explain anything Never coming back.

What started out as a favorable experience ended up a disaster. I was a patient for about 8 years and the service has been declining rapidly in the last 3 years. The administration (front desk) staff need continuing education on mannerisms and tact. The overturn of nurse practitioners are endless. They never give you a full report on what's found on cat scans, mri, xrays, sonograms etc.... Thank God I left that practice!!!! I've since been to a new more professional and caring doctor with exceptional bedside manner who actually cares about my health. This new doctor looked at my records and just shook his head when he told me my results from ordered tests and results Scafuri office failed to mention. Needless to say and also sad to say stay away from this practice. Your life may depend on it. They only care about your $$$$ and copay. They see your wallet not a patient with true medical needs.

This is THE WORST and most UNPROFESSIONAL medical practice in all of Staten Island. They do not do referrals, the staff that answer the phones are rude and their ideologies of patient care is a joke. This man is responsible for 2 of my family members being hospitalized, due to mistreatment; And hes the kind of doctor that loves to say thats not my problem. If this is your primary, SAVE YOUR OWN LIFE and go someplace else. Shortly after posting this review (on his other link that he has other terrible reviews on) I was sent a termination letter. No Phone Call or Questions asked. Simple Lack Of Care all around. Dr.Scafuri- I did not forget how you have affected my family, and I dont care how many pages you create, I will never not repost this review. You deserve 1 star for terrible patient care/ professionalism and youre lucky I didnt pursue a lawsuit for retaliatory termination and not filling my families prescriptions and having your secretaries tell me it wasnt your problem. EDIT- if you look closely and read the reviews- youll see the only good reviews he has are extremely generic and most likely written by him and his staff lol what a joke.
