I got signed up by one of their door to door salesman. The salesman put the wrong address in their file, and it took me months to get it squared away, as they insisted i had a contract at the wrong address too, and were threatening all sorts of financial penalties. Last year, they said they couldn't deliver oil if i didn't sign a contract, so I signed, because my tank was almost empty. This year, I let my contract run out because their oil was ridiculously high compared to local vendors. The day after it expired, they showed up and delivered oil, and charged me the the incorrect daily rate by their own books. I got it corrected, then they uncorrected it. Canceled my service, which was different than the actual contract and ended up paying the incorrect rate just to be done with them. HIGHLY DON'T RECOMMEND.

If i could leave zero stars I would. Had Slomins for over 20 years both oil and service. Never late on payment. They claimed I did not pay one $200 bill for service from last July and without any notice whatsover they stopped delivering oil. Found this out when I woke Up freezing with two sick children in the house. After 20 years of loyalty and during a pandemic, the heartless company froze me and my children out of our home. They had nothing to say when i called. They did not care. There are so many better loyal companies out there. Read the reviews. They are a mistake. Stay away.

Needed some work done on our heating system. We were having issues getting one of our zones to heat up. Slomins expedited our new maintenance contract and had some out to repair our issues within a day. Customer service has been excellent and tech was exceptional.

Went one year with them and everything was okay. After a Year they automatically renewed my contract for full price oil. I called them and we negotiated the price down. I told them I wanted to shop around. After shopping around I called them back and told them I would like to continue my contract at the price quoted. After two deliveries and worthless customer service reps I have finally found out from a rep that I had to go into an email and click a link in order to continue my contract at the negotiated price. I DID call Slomins that day after I had negotiated the price and told a sales rep/customer service rep that I wanted to continue the contract at the 2.049, the customer service rep said I was all set and didn't mention a link. Slomins doesn't disagree with the call being made but says I should have gone into my email and clicked on a link. I did not need to click on a link when they automatically renewed my contract! I paid my remaining balance, closed my contract, and informed them they are not allowed on my property. Seriously could have had an on time paying customer for a long time if it weren't for a link in an email that customer service reps on the day the email sent out couldn't override or mistakenly didn't override. FYI I sent all the emails and correspondence to Slomins customer service. None of this was made up. I can show them the calls on my cell when I talked to their customer service twice. Lastly their tech left a bolt loose between the burner and the box. Found by another tech when the eye went bad.
